How do you prepare for Black Friday?
4eCom asked its community of eCommerce experts — including SaaS platforms, agencies, and system integrators — to share how the sector is gearing up for Black Friday 2025. The resulting analysis highlights the importance of early planning, collaboration among stakeholders, and a sustainable, personalized approach to sales.
Here are the key challenges to successfully manage this crucial moment for eCommerce:
- Planning: anticipate deadlines to reduce last-minute emergencies.
 - Collaboration: every business area is involved, with diverse skills intertwining to handle peak periods effectively;
 - Personalization of the shopping experience.

But the most significant challenge for 2025 is integrating Artificial Intelligence into strategic thinking — to forecast demand, optimize the product assortments, manage logistics, and adapt campaigns based on customer reactions.
Among 4eCom’s partners, Fabrico emphasized the growing importance of personalization, omnichannel strategies, and sustainable promotions. “Black Friday works when there’s coherence between the offer, UX, and infrastructure,” says Ruggero Landolina, Head of E-commerce Development at Fabrico. “Partnerships will play a key role, as the most valuable collaborations are those built on practical exchange — sharing real experiences and solutions.”
