On 31 January and 1 February 2025, the first edition of the Ecommerce Beauty & Pharma Conference was held in Bologna. This event, organised by Ecommerce School, was attended by expert speakers, leading companies and industry professionals. For Fabrico, taking part was a great opportunity to meet friends and technology partners and share experiences useful for the growth of e-commerce sites in this sector – beauty & pharma – of enormous potential.

 

During the conference, our Head of E-commerce Development Ruggero Landolina shared the stage with Salvatore Bardaro of FlameNetworks to tell, through the concrete case of Farmacia Bolli, how the synergy between Cloud Provider and System Integrator can result in an increase in e-commerce turnover.

 

In illustrating the key stages of the journey, which led to a significant improvement in the site’s performance, the focus was on aspects such as:

 

– the security and stability upgrade to avoid service downtime and ensure customer safety;

– the optimisation of database queries, improving the speed and responsiveness of the site;

– migration to a new server, in collaboration with FlameNetworks, to support increased traffic and demand.

 

Fabrifarma: the tool to grow pharmacy e-commerce  

 

Ruggero’s presentation was also an opportunity to officially present Fabrifarma, the brand new solution developed by Fabrico for advanced pharmaceutical e-commerce management.
